When active, the user can play one note at a time, with each played note re-triggering the envelope generators or LFOs
In mono legato mode, you avoid retriggering the envelope generators and LFOs each time a new note is played, provided you play a new note before the first note is released. This was a classic playing technique with instruments such as the Minimoog and has been incorporated in GForce’s Oberheim OB-X due to the expression this allows the user to impart.
Oberheim OB-X can play up to 16 notes simultaneously when in Poly mode. The maximum polyphony can be set within the Polyphony Window.
Turns a monophonic Oberheim OB-X into a total monster by taking all the polyphonic voices and assigning them to a single note.
Unison Detune lets you adjust the amount of detuning between the stacked voices in unison mode.
<aside> ⚠️ This knob has no affect when not in Unison mode. Try using Vintage or Osc2 Detune instead.

The voices screen lets you select the number of voices for Oberheim OB-X from 1 to 16.
<aside> ⚠️ Note that the higher the number of voices used, the higher the CPU usage in your DAW will be.

Pressing ADV in the upper right corner of the panel lets you access the advanced settings of that panel: Voice Panning.
The Oberheim OB-X lets you set the pan of each voice up to 8 voices. When using more than 8 voices, voices 1 & 9 (2 & 10, and so on) share the same pan value.
