MAP’s Time effect is a quad stereo delay with two configurations and filtering that lets you create flexible rhythmic movement in your patches.
The Preset bar at the top of the Time section allows you to cycle through presets using the left and right arrows and load a preset by clicking on the title text.
Upon clicking the text a drop down menu appears allowing you to select from the Factory or User preset lists, saved presets appear in the User section.
You can save the current Time configuration by clicking the Save icon at the right hand end of the Preset Bar. Here you can name the Preset for recalling in future patches.
The Sync button enables tempo sync for Time. With Sync off each delay’s Time parameter is set in millisecond increments. With Sync on each delay’s Time parameter is set in measures relative to the current tempo, sourced either from the footer Tempo parameter when using the standalone application or your host when using the plugin.
With the Lock enabled Time’s settings become fixed, even if you change patches. This allows you to try out your current effect settings with other sounds.
Determines whether the Time effect is enabled or not.
The Tap / Loop switch switches between Time’s two configurations.
Each of Time’s four delays can have their Level and Time interacted with using either the XY Pad, with Time on the X axis and Level on the Y axis, or by clicking and dragging the text parameters next to the pads. The text parameters can be used to assign modulation to these parameters.
Each Time parameter’s range is 5ms to 4000ms when unsync’d and 1/512 to 16/1 when sync’d.
Each Level parameter’s range is from -inf dB to 0dB.
