MAP’s space effect combines a granular reverb with stereo movement and diffusion to add beds of grains and reverberation to your sounds.
The Preset bar at the top of the Space section allows you to cycle through presets using the left and right arrows and load a preset by clicking on the title text.
Upon clicking the text a drop down menu appears allowing you to select from the Factory or User preset lists, saved presets appear in the User section.
You can save the current Space configuration by clicking the Save icon at the right hand end of the Preset Bar. Here you can name the Preset for recalling in future patches.
With the Lock enabled Space’s settings become fixed, even if you change patches. This allows you to try out your current effect settings with other sounds.
Determines whether the Space effect is enabled or not.
Determines whether grains are played back in reverse or not.
The Grains parameter sets the number of simultaneous grains in the Space effect, it ranges from a single grain to 64 grains.
The Size parameter determines the length of the grains. Smaller grains are more percussive in nature while longer grains sound more like a volume swell.
The Feedback parameter sets the feedback amount of the grain streams. At higher feedback levels the grains will repeat for longer adding a longer decay to Space.

The Swirl effect manipulates the granular engine in the stereo field. It takes the stereo output of the granular reverb and uses allpass filters and LFO’s to make the granular stream ‘swirl’.
