Click the Cog icon on the header bar to open the settings window.
In the standalone application the top section of the settings window is where you can choose your audio output and MIDI input device settings.
The rest of the settings window is where you can change various aspects of Halogen FM’s appearance and function. These settings will apply across all formats and instances.
Click Edit to place Halogen FM into MIDI CC learning mode. Click a knob then turn the MIDI CC on your hardware controller to assign. Double-click the assignment to remove it, or click the Clear button to remove all assignments.
Allows you to increase the size of the text in the preset browser.
Enable or disable dark mode for the Halogen FM GUI.
Pitchbends on Halogen FM are global and not affected by patch changing. Select your preferred range for your pitchbend wheel between 1-7 semitones or 48 semitones.
When 48 semitones is selected Halogen FM will respond to polyphonic pitchbend input for use with MPE compatible controllers.
Use this setting to tune Halogen’s velocity response to suit your hardware keyboard controller. There are 5 options: Very Low, Low, Medium, High, and (you guessed it) Very High.
On - Envelope release tails will continue after you press stop on your host DAW.
Off - Envelope release tails will stop after you press stop on your host DAW
