Enabling Multi-Out (v1.1 - not available in standalone)

On - DMX will output to the master bus plus 10 individual outputs

Off - DMX will only output to its master bus. The other 10 outs will be available in your DAW but silent.

This setting will be recalled across instances.

<aside> ⚠️ Note that in Logic Pro, this setting does not close and load the mutli-channel version of DMX. If you’ve enabled this setting on the stereo only version you’ll need to now load the multi-channel version to use it.

Other DAWs appear to exclusively load the multi-channel version if available and the multiple outputs will be available immediately.

About DMX’s Multi-Out (v1.1)

New in version 1.1. Oberheim DMX now offers stereo multichannel outputs for each of the 8 channels and 2 FX channels. The outputs act like mixer-style pre-fader sends and are not affected by the channel’s volume, mute or solo settings, and do not pass through the master bus section in DMX.

Setting up an individual output in your DAW does not automatically prevent it from also coming out of the main stereo out. This allows for parallel processing, but means you’ll need to mute the channel in DMX if you only want to use the individual out.
