Instrument Settings

The rest of the settings window is where you can change various aspects of IconDrum’s appearance and function. These settings will apply across all formats and instances.

Patch browser font scale

Allows you to increase the size of the text in the preset browser.

Tooltip Timeout Length

From 1-5s. Choose how long tool-tips stay on screen after you finish using the parameter.

MIDI keyboard mapping

This parameter lets you change the MIDI mapping of the pads

Original - This is the default mapping with Bass pad 1 mapped to C1, Bass pad 2 mapped to C#1, Bass pad 3 to D1, Snare pad 1 to D#1 and so on.
GM - General MIDI mapping to enable you to control the IconDrum more easily from a Pad MIDI Controller. Not all sounds sit nicely in a typical GM map, so we had to get inventive up in the higher notes.

Enabling Multi-Out

On - IconDrum will output to the master bus plus 14 individual outputs

Off - IconDrum will only output to its master bus. The other 14 outs will be available in your DAW but silent.

This setting will be recalled across instances.

<aside> ⚠️ Note that in Logic Pro, this setting does not close and load the mutli-channel version of IconDrum. If you’ve enabled this setting on the stereo only version you’ll need to now load the multi-channel version to use it.

Other DAWs appear to exclusively load the multi-channel version if available and the multiple outputs will be available immediately.

In the standalone application the top section of the settings window is where you can choose your audio output and MIDI input device settings.
