The Modulation Bar and Modulation Matrix are the heart of MAP’s extensive sound design possibilities. The Modulation Bar allows you to quickly and easily assign modulation to nearly every parameter, while the Modulation Matrix provides simple editing and management of all modulation within your patch.
Applying and removing modulation via the Modulation Bar is simple.

Each of the modulation sliders in the Mod Bar contains a scope showing the current value of each modulation source, this is great for understanding the complexity and intensity of your modulation sources at a glance.

Clicking on the large Modulation Bar title button will open the drop down Modulation Matrix. If you do not have the FX view open this will also expand the instrument window to accommodate.
The Mod Matrix updates live to show any modulation applied, when you add modulation a row will be added to the Matrix, when you remove modulation the relevant row will be removed.
Your currently selected parameter will appear in focus in the Mod Matrix, mirroring the Modulation Bar state.
Depending on whether you have MPE enabled or not, the number of modulation sources will vary. Always present are:
With MPE disabled velocity and aftertouch are also available.
With MPE enabled strike, timbre, pressure and lift replace velocity and aftertouch.
