Velocity Amount Knob

The velocity knob lets you set an amount of modulation for the Velocity Destination selected in the windows beside it. Note that an amount can be set for several destinations, so velocity can affect several destinations simultaneously and destinations not currently being displayed are still active.

Velocity Destination Windows

This window lets you select the destination you want to apply an amount of velocity modulation. Click the upper or lower area of the window to cycle options or right-click for a menu.

• Filter Cutoff Use this to apply varying degrees of keyboard velocity response to Filter Cutoff dynamics.

• Amplitude Use this to apply varying degrees of keyboard velocity response to layer amplitude amount.

  Note this parameter affects the layer amp knob found on the layer screens, not the master volume knob! If you add positive modulation depth here you’ll want to decrease the layer amp accordingly. Perhaps to zero for full range velocity to amp control.

• Filter Envelope Amount Use this to apply vary degrees of keyboard velocity to the Filter Envelope Depth.

• Osc 1 Level Use this to apply varying degrees of keyboard velocity response to the osc 1 mixer level.

• Osc 2 Level Use this to apply varying degrees of keyboard velocity response to the osc 2 mixer level.

• Noise Level Use this to apply varying degrees of keyboard velocity response to the noise mixer level.

• Filter Resonance Use this to apply varying degrees of keyboard velocity response to Filter resonance.

Aftertouch Knob (MPE: Timbre)

The aftertouch knob lets you set an amount of modulation for the Aftertouch or MPE Timbre Destination selected in the windows beside it. Note that an amount can be set for several destinations so that aftertouch can affect several destinations simultaneously and destinations not currently being displayed are still active.

Aftertouch / Timbre Destination Windows

This window lets you select the destination you want to apply an amount of aftertouch modulation. Click the upper or lower area of the window to cycle options or right-click for a menu.

• Filter Cutoff Use this to open or close the filter via your external keyboard’s aftertouch or timbre.
• LFO Amount Use this to change the LFO initial depth via your external keyboard’s aftertouch or timbre.
• Poly-Mod Filt Env Amount Use this to change the Filter envelope amount in the poly-mod sections via your external keyboard’s aftertouch or timbre.
• Poly-Mod Osc 2 Amount Use this to change the Osc 2 amount in the poly-mod sections via your external keyboard’s aftertouch or timbre.
