M-Tron Pro has two independently configurable layers, Layer A (Green) and Layer B (Red). Each layer can load a different tape bank and has independent tape, LFO, filter, amplitude envelope and performance settings.
Displays the currently loaded tape bank for each layer. Clicking on a window will open the Tape Bank Browser for that layer.
The tape bank browser allows you to quickly find and load tapes into the layers. Like the Patch Browser, tapes can be searched and are sorted by collections, types, and tags, which can be selected to filter results given in the column on the right.
Click on a tape bank name to load it into the current layer.
Right-click on a tape bank to find options to load it to the other layer or both.
Double-click a tape bank to load it and close the browser.
Solos the layer in question, muting the other one.
“A” button - Clicking the A button will select layer A for editing. When Layer A is selected and active, all the corresponding controls’ markers will turn green. If a particular parameter or control doesn’t have a green marker, it is global and not layer specific eg: FX and master control sections.
“B” button - Clicking the B button will select layer B for editing. When Layer B is selected and active, all the corresponding controls’ markers will turn red. If a particular parameter or control doesn’t have a red marker, it is global and not layer specific eg: FX and master control sections.
Link Button - Clicking the link button will select both layers for editing. When link mode is selected and active, all the corresponding controls’ markers will turn blue and the GUI knob positions will match that of Layer A.
However, the Layer B parameters will not change until you adjust the linked knob. For example: if you enter link mode, adjust the filter cutoff, and exit link mode, all other Layer B settings will remain unchanged.

These two sliders control the keyboard range of the currently selected layer. The left slider sets the lowest note available to that layer and the right slider sets the highest.
