LFOs A, B and C

MAP features three identically featured LFO designers, which allow you to create unique and complex modulation shapes. Editing a shape is simple and fast and basic shapes are provided for instances where a simple LFO is required quickly.

Loading a Shape

LFO shape presets allow you to quickly apply modulation ****of your patch. The Preset bar at the top of the LFO section allows you to cycle through presets using the left and right arrows and load a preset by clicking on the title text.

Upon clicking the text a drop down menu appears allowing you to select from the Basic or User preset lists, saved presets appear in the User section.

Saving a Shape

You can save the current LFO Shape by clicking the Save icon at the right hand end of the Preset Bar. Here you can name the Shape for recalling in future patches.

Editing a Shape

Points are represented by orange circles, they can be added, moved and removed to create LFO shapes.

Adding a Point

Double click anywhere within the LFO graph window to add a new point at that position to the LFO shape.

Moving a Point

Click and drag a point, either horizontally or vertically, to set its position. Points can not be dragged passed other points. The first/last points can only be moved vertically in unison, to ensure a looping LFO.

Removing a Point

Double click on a point to remove it. The first/last points can not be removed.

Adding a Curve

Click on one of the dots that sits on the line between two points and drag vertically to apply curving to that line segment. Dragging up applies a logarithmic curve, dragging down applies an exponential curve. Curves are great for adding organic character to LFO modulations.

Removing a Curve

Double click on a curve dot to reset the curve of that line segment.
