MAP features two filters with selectable routing allowing you to sculpt and emphasise the frequency content of your sound.

Loading a Filter Preset

Filter presets allow you to quickly change the core character of your patch. The Preset bar at the top of the Filter section allows you to cycle through presets using the left and right arrows and load a preset by clicking on the title text.

Upon clicking the text a drop down menu appears allowing you to select from the Factory or User preset lists, saved presets appear in the User section.

Saving a Filter Preset

You can save the current Filter configuration, including XY Pad Macro assignments, by clicking the Save icon at the right hand end of the Preset Bar. Here you can name the Preset for recalling in future patches.

Filter Settings

Filter Gate / Envelope Button

The Gate / Envelope button allows the selection of how amplitude is controlled.

• When set to Gate, amplitude is simply on when a note is held and off when no notes are held.
• When set to Env A, amplitude is controlled by Envelope A’s signal.

Filter Pre / Post Button

The Pre / Post button determines whether the Filter Gain takes place before or after the Filter section.

• When set to Pre, the Filter Gain knob is applied on the signal going in to the Filter section.
• When set to Post, the Filter Gain knob is applied to the signal coming out of the Filter section.

Filter Gain

The Filter Gain knob allows modulation of the signal. When pushed above 0dB the signal will overdrive, allowing the addition of coarse, aggressive character to your sound.

Filter Routing

MAP features three routing options which can be selected using the Filter Routing control.

• A to B - The signal passes through Filter A first.
