Stereo Delay

Delay Time Left & Right Knobs

Sets the delay time of the left and right channels individually. In Sync mode the delay times are from 1/32nd of a beat to 4 beats. In unsynchronised mode the delay times are 10 Milliseconds to 1000 Milliseconds (10 Seconds).

Delay Sync Switch

Switches between unsynchronised and synchronised mode. Synchronised mode is used to sync the delay times to that the host tempo of your DAW.

Delay Feedback Knob

Sets the amount of times the delay lines repeat.

Delay High-Pass Knob

This applies a High-Pass filter to the delay signal and turning this knob progressively filters out low frequencies of the delay’s audio bandwidth. This can help ‘declutter’ the overall Patch.

Delay Mix Knob

Delay Mix sets the balance between the dry signal (containing no delay) and the wet signal (containing only the delay signal).

Reverb

Oberheim OB-EZ includes a comprehensive Reverb effect, the controls for which are as follows:

Reverb Size

Progressively adjusts the size of the reverb from a small room to a large hall.

Reverb Decay

This changes the length of the reverb tail, ie the time taken for the reverb to fade away.

Reverb Filter

With a zero value at 12 o’clock, turning this knob anti-clockwise applies a Low Pass Filter to the Reverb signal, allowing the low frequencies to sound while progressively filtering out the higher frequencies. Turning it clockwise applies High Pass Filter to the Reverb signal, allowing the high frequencies to pass through while progressively filtering out the lower frequencies.
