Minimonsta2 comes with a built-in Stereo Delay & Reverb. Each of these effects can be turned on or off via the green LED in the top left of each effect section. It’s also possible to lock any or all of the effects so that you retain your current effects settings even when changing patches. To activate the Lock, click on the padlock at the top-right of each effect, whereupon it’ll become ‘greyed out’.

Delay

Delay Amount

Controls the level of the delay.

Delay Feedback

Controls the number of repeat echoes (regeneration) output by the delay. A small feedback percentage will produce a minimal amount of repeat echoes and a large feedback percentage can produce up to an infinite quantity of repeat echoes.

Delay Time Knobs (Left & Right)

These control the delay times for left and right delay lines.****

Delay Cross-feedback Icon

When illuminated, this feeds the left delay signal into the right signal and vice versa, to create a ping pong delay signal.

When illuminated if you change the left Delay Time value, the right time will also change to the same value, and vice-versa.

When illuminated the delay times are synchronized to host DAW’s tempo and given in beats. When in standalone mode the tempo is set in the tempo window

When off the delay time is not synchronized and is given in seconds.

Reverb

Minimonsta2 includes a comprehensive Reverb effect, the controls for which are as follows:

Reverb Preset

Right-clicking on this gives access to five different factory reverb presets providing a good starting point for your own settings. Left click will scroll through the presets.
