The Arpeggiator and Sequencer can be accessed by clicking the Sequencer icon in the header, or by setting the KBD/SEQ switch to SEQ. The switch is located to the upper left of the keyboard.

When the arpeggiator or sequencer is activated, the SEQ Led will be On, lit red.

Arpeggiator

The arpeggiator can be activated by setting the ARP/OFF/SEQ to ARP. The arpeggiator can be de-activated by setting the ARP/OFF/SEQ to OFF.

In Arpeggiator mode, only three controls are applicable: MODE, RATE and SWING. All other controls are greyed as they apply only to the sequencer.

Mode Knob

Mode enables setting how notes are played when playing the arpeggiator. There are four modes:

Rate Knob

Rate is used to specify the speed of the arpeggiation.

Note the arpeggiator is always synchronised to your host tempo, or the tempo displayed in the footer bar if using OB-1 as a standalone application.

Swing Knob

Swing is a way to alter the timing of notes played in a sequence slightly. As you increase the swing value, every second note will be delayed and play closer to the following note.

Sequencer
